As a guideline, nominees should post their nomination with up to 200 words max in this thread. Before applying, keep in mind that the Tribal Council will be replacing Optismic Approval (OA), meaning that nominees should be aware of OA’s current tasks. Additionally, nominees have to be knowledgeable about the Tribe’s ecosystem and should be able to dedicate a reasonable amount of time, meaning that this is considered a major commitment.

Summary: 
Start a DAO treasury funded Fei Grants Program from Batch #2 onwards, with the next Batch running for a period of 3 months.
Motivation: 
Arcology, DioDionysos and meertitan have been managing the Fei Grants Program in collaboration with Sebastian from Fei Labs for the pilot Batch #1, with the scope and funding directed by Fei Labs. The Grants Committee has a developed a track record in the past Batch reviewing, approving, funding and assisting many projects, such as:

<li>Llama DAO (providing financial reporting data for the Fei DAO) ($119,500)</li>
<li>Crypto Kailash substack (increasing recognition of Fei Protocol’s mechanisms) ($10,000)</li>
<li>CVc analysis (an analytics dashboard tracking key metrics of Fei Protocol) ($10,000)</li>
</ul>

As the DAO matures, decentralization is becoming a more pressing desire and the Grants program is no exception, as an important entity to both decentralize; and to seek out and retain talent within and outside of Fei Protocol’s DAO.
Given the circumstances, the Fei Grants Committee is requesting more independence in their management of the Fei Grants Program, with the intention of fully transferring control of management and Grants review within the DAO, with Fei Labs in an advisory role.
At this juncture, the Grants Committee would like to expand operations in the Batch #2. From our earlier article on the Batch #1 retrospective, we have identified that we needed to adopt a more proactive stance on seeking and recruiting talent, drawing more and better quality contributors to Build for Fei. As such, one strategy is to leverage our in-person networks and reach out to institutes of higher education and professional blockchain associations to source such talent.
Specification: 
To continue with the next Batch of the Grants Program, the Committee hereby requests a working budget of 250,000 TRIBE, in line with the previous Batch #1 budget. This funding is intended to last for 3 months, the proposed duration of the next Batch.
We are also requesting an additional 10,000 TRIBE for any operational expenses from the Grants Committee, including but not limited to: gas costs, local and regional professional/enthusiast blockchain memberships, participation in universities and associated events for hunting down high value prospective Grantees and projects; web-domain upkeep costs and potential marketing endeavors. All such costs will be recorded and reported for transparency. This brings the total budget to 260,000 TRIBE.
Any funds unused at the end of the Batch will be returned to the DAO. Any budget overage during this Batch will be identified, with any consequent funding top-ups to be brought before Governance.
Approved Grants will be paid out from this budget, using a 2 out of 3 Gnosis multisig made up of the Fei Grants Committee members (arcology, DioDionysos, meertitan).
Previously approved Grants from Batch #1 will continue to be paid out by the Batch #1 budget set by Fei Labs.

FIP-XX: Fei Grants Program Batch #2 Budget Proposal

Hey Tribe!
This is a proposal for a <a href="https://tribe.fei.money/t/proposal-to-establish-a-system-for-working-groups/3194">Tribe working group 4</a> dealing with partnerships and working closely together with the possible integrations Tribe. It was created by <a href="/u/meertitan">@Meertitan</a> and <a href="/u/diodionysos">@DioDionysos</a> . As we explain further down in the post, we are still looking for team members. 
Of course, feedback would be greatly appreciated.
1. What goal are we trying to accomplish?
The core goal of this Tribe is to find integration partners that could increase the viability of FEI and make it a more established currency. After connections with a project have been established and a deal has been worked out/outlined the Partnership team could hand the reins over to the developer team(or even let the partner resource the code) to finalize the partnership.
We would thus:

<li>track interactions with partners</li>
<li>manage established connections</li>
<li>reduce the workload of the core team</li>
</ul>
2. What impact will this group have?
The impact this will have is a deep integration of FEI and TRIBE into other DeFi projects. Thus giving FEI and TRIBE more value and use cases.
3. What does this group aim to accomplish
The main methods will be social engineering, the team will try to connect with as many viable partners as possible. This would be limited to partners that can increase viability and bring use cases for FEI.
4. What is the timeline for accomplishing this task?
For the timeline, we want to be put on a month-long trial period. If we fail to deliver on our weekly reports, the Tribe can be disbanded earlier.
5. What is needed to accomplish this task/project?
The budget this group needs is minimal. Once the connection to another DeFi project is established, the budget needed for a specific partnership can be discussed.
One example would be: PoolTogether 
We could allocate some of the DAO treasury towards a pool based on certain conditions:
<ul>
<li>seed a prize for a period of time (for example 60 days at $2000USD per week) to attract people to the pool</li>
<li>allow the pool to grow by more and more TRIBE holders joining</li>
<li>start drawing prizes for people that deposited into the pool in certain intervals</li>
</ul>
After these parameters are determined for a certain partnership, then we can think about funding the acquired partnership.
6. Working Group Leader(s): Who manages the group?
Working Group leaders: Dual Leadership <a href="/u/diodionysos">@DioDionysos</a> &amp; <a href="/u/meertitan">@Meertitan</a> ? 
Both of us have already proven engagement in the community. We have put a lot of our time into this project and are willing to invest even more. 
We hope to establish trust in our leadership and work culture when it comes to pursuing partnerships. 
We are possibly looking for another member that could fill the timeframe from UTC+2 12 AM to 10 AM.
7. How will you report your progress to the community?
Reports: 
Weekly report at least (Discord/Discourse), reporting progress on each possible partnership and maybe summarizing pros/cons of potential partnerships.
Discussions: 
If connections have been established, we could discuss(Discourse) them with the community before continuing the pursuit.

This would also be an option if there is enough participation from the community.
